THE Central Mediterranean remains the main migratory route into the EU, Frontex has said in a recent report. In the first five months of the year, the number of detections more than doubled (160%) compared to the same period in 2022. It is the highest number recorded since 2017. VIRGIN Galactic has finally confirmed it is ready to begin commercial commercial spaceflight as soon as it launches its Galactic 01, set for between June 27th and June 30th. The inaugural suborbital mission will carry three people from Italy’s Air Force and National Research Council as they conduct microgravity research.
